Pacific Partnerships

The Pacific Faculty of Policing (PFP) is a joint Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Australian Institute of Police Management (AIPM) initiative.  It brings together police leaders from across the Pacific for professional, leadership and executive development opportunities to enhance their leadership capabilities to manage current and emerging security threats in the region.

Australia and Pacific nations have a long history of working closely together to address common challenges. Our faculty offers important opportunities to strengthen engagement, cooperation, institutional relationships and work towards enhancing law enforcement policy consistency.  Our faculty brings together police executives and senior supervisors from across the South Pacific region (represented by the Pacific Island Chiefs of Police – PICP):  American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, Federated States of Micronesia, French Polynesia, Guam, Kingdom of Tonga, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Western Samoa, Tuvalu, Vanuatu.
